Founded
in 1970 by Jack T. Hammer, HSI Management, a wholly owned subsidiary
of Housing Systems, Incorporated, has a proven track record of managing
diverse product types through all real estate cycles. The availability
of capital and acquisitions of properties in emerging markets ensured
our initial success in managing our own real estate. Over the years,
prudent business practices provided the solid foundation for positioning
HSI as an emerging leader in the multi-family housing market. Today,
HSI is sought out by other independent owners and investors to manage
their properties not only due to our past success, but also our passion
and commitment to this industry.
At HSI, we understand the importance of quality property management
for income producing real estate. We utilize an efficient management
system based on more than 35 years experience gained from owning and
managing properties and employ a team of experienced and dedicated
professionals that is intimately familiar with the structures, mechanical
systems, grounds, warranty issues and operations of all types of properties.
From Certified Property Managers to Certified Public Accountants,
HSI is staffed by accredited professionals that are committed to ongoing
professional development through the Institute of Real Estate Management,
The Board of Realtors, apartment associations and other industry organizations.
This experience and expertise gives us the edge in developing and
implementing systems to effectively manage our portfolio.
HSI has also invested in state-of-the-art property management and
accounting software applications that allow us to not only provide
comprehensive reporting, but also deliver timely financial analysis
and operating statements to owners, board of directors, investors,
and institution or government agencies. Even more important, we have
developed and earned the reputation for providing the highest level
of personal service to our clients and to the residents who call the
properties we manage home.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, HSI currently manages over 3,500
multi-family units, with another 1,000 units under development. From
cooperative housing communities to affordable senior living, serving
rural to urban markets, HSI offers apartments in Alabama, Florida,
Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and beginning in
